From $249 laptops to $3 toasters, stores are getting aggressive with their prices, especially with newly released statistics showing a 26-year high unemployment rate. CNN reports bad sales numbers over the past 10 months have given many retailers no reason to overstock shelves. They have less merchandise to move this year, which means customers who wait close to Christmas to buy that must-have item may be out of luck.
To get shoppers and their money ready, here are some of the Black Friday deals stores are circulating:
Best Buy
One of Best Buy's Black Friday deals is a $249 laptop, according to Product-Reviews.net. The Acer Aspire model with a 2.2 GHz processor and 160GB hard drive will be sold at a record-low price.
Kohl's
Black-Friday.net shows Kohl's has 50% off its entire stock of Fisher-Price, Playskool, Barbie, Littlest Pet Shop, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Tonka, Little Tikes, Crayola and Play-Doh toys for Early Bird shoppers.
Staples
BlackFriday.info posted Staples' Black Friday deals. Bargains range from a free universal remote after rebate to a TomTom GPS navigation system for under $100.
Target
GottaDeal.com says the site received a leaked Target Black Friday ad. The bargains listed include an $88 Nikon Coolpix, $246 32" Widescreen LCD HDTV, $5 infant and toddler 2-piece pajamas, $3 graphic tees, $3 toaster and many deals that come with a free Target gift card.
Wal-Mart
Wal-Mart hasn't released its official Black Friday circular yet but i4U News analyzed the store's early Black Friday deals. Beginning this Saturday and running for one week, customers who buy a Blackberry with a 2-year contract will receive a $100 Wal-Mart gift card.
I love the deals but not the crowds. That's why I'm more of a Cyber Monday shopper.
Like most moms, though, I'm always on the hunt for a rock bottom price. If you have a Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal to share, post it to the Stay-at-Home Moms forum in the Saving Money section.

I saved quite a bit on black friday last year by doing most of my shopping that day online using price alert sites to find deals. I’ve already made a list of the gifts i’m buying for my family at ZingSale.com, and now i get an email when any of them go on sale.
yes, we must have a plan and stick to the plan. Black friday deals very tempting, aren’t they?
Personally i’m going to try to avoid the crowds this year and do most of my shopping online.
