Create a Giant Pumpkin Decoration for Your Windows

My yard has become home to happy scarecrows, friendly ghosts and Halloween inflatables. So what did I decide we needed?

A giant pumpkin smiling from the double windows upstairs, of course.

I loaded my car with kids and coupons and headed to the local hobby store to make this idea come to life. I only needed to pick up some black poster board and orange tissue paper. It really is that simple.

Now we've got the largest pumpkin in the neighborhood and this big guy has a warm orange glow that can be seen way past our street. It also cost less than $8 to make to cover 4 windows and we can use it year after year.

Best of all? It's a fun project for the kids that all of you will enjoy.
