My self-induced resolutions fizzled by the end of week 1 in too many years on my calendar to count. So, of course, you're left with the guilt that you're one of the majority of people who doesn't live up to their own resolutions.
As a mom, I look at resolutions differently. They're an opportunity to look back over the last year of life with your family while seeing how you can all grow in the coming year.
I'm excited about these 10 New Year's Resolutions for Families because I'm always looking for new ways for my husband, kids and I to spend time together. We'll actually be tapping into every resolution on the list but without pressure. These resolutions are actually ones any family can keep!
And the best part is, you can consider them a kick start to enhance your family time as opposed to a rigorous plan you're setting in motion that will just leave you with guilty feelings if you don't stick to them. In other words, we'll be turning our "resolutions" into a part of our family routine while enjoying every minute we can together.
