Gifts for Teachers

I was initiated into the buying gifts for teachers club when my son started his preschool program so long ago. When I looked for that special Christmas gift he could give her, Google came back with 134,000,000 results for "teacher gifts."

I narrowed down those selections to one list of top 12 gifts. Ultimately, we decided on a personalized apple bookmark with a red tassel (compare prices) just like the one in the picture.

After finding coupons to cut the price, I ordered the bookmark one evening and it shipped out the next morning. I was able to add my son's name to the bookmark so his teacher will always know who gave it to her.

Practical items also make great gifts for teachers. Consider a gift card to a local department store so she can pick out something special for herself. Or get her a gift card to a superstore so she can buy a gift for herself or necessities for her family. She may not always remember the source of her gift if she chooses to buy groceries or soap for her household, but she'll certainly be appreciative of the extra help.

Looking for something more personal and affordable? Get crafty with more than 50 handmade gifts for teachers. There are so many projects to choose from, and the kids can help create a unique gift for their teachers. The "teacher's survival kit" project is one of my favorites from the list.

The body cream at Henry & Co is just divine and a great gift for teachers.

Their candles are a non-gender specific gift and are made from soy!

Everytime I give something from Henry & Co they can’t stop thanking me. Check them out here: http://bit.ly/t46jH0
