Why Did You Begin Blogging:

For therapeutic purposes to connect with other moms, especially those who have become mothers later in life. It can be a lonely business being a first time mother in your forties. Other mothers seem so much younger.

Most Rewarding Part of Being a SAHM:

Having waited so long for my son, it's just such a privilege to be able to spend time with him. After so many years with no children around for one reason or another, It's also lovely to have his little friends over to the house. It's fantastic having the time to reconnect with my own childhood by doing with him, the things I did back then. I also get to spend time with my elderly mother, so she has time to get to know him.

Biggest Challenge You Face as a SAHM:

I sometimes wonder where the rest of me has gone! The part that liked to socialise, write and read. Since May and now that my little boy is going to playschool, I am trying to rectify all that. I have started to blog, cycle, read again. Bliss!

Best Advice for Other Stay-at-Home Moms:

Stay connected. Even if you can't get out much, use social media including the telephone!!
