Why Did You Begin Blogging:

I wanted to continue to do news reporting as a stay-at-home mom. I worked as a radio news reporter/anchor before I was laid off. The timing worked out perfectly because I was able to stay home with my son as a result.

Little Reason for Being a Stay-at-Home Mom:

Most Rewarding Part of Being a SAHM:

Seeing my son accomplish simple things that to him, are major. Watching his face light up when he saw the park for the first time was amazing to me...

Biggest Challenge You Face:

Sticking to a schedule. When you are home all day, everyday, it's easy to let things slide or put it off and procrastinate. Keeping my son on a schedule makes life easier, but it's really hard for me.

Best Advice for Other Stay-at-Home Moms:

If you want to be a SAHM, find a way and commit to doing it. It may not be easy and it may not always be fun, but the memories you and your child will have are priceless, and it will make it all worthwhile.
