Why Did You Begin Blogging:

After my son was born, I quit my job to be a stay-at-home mom. When he was 7 months old, my former employer, MagnetStreet, approached me about writing a mommy blog to support their birth announcement marketing. I write mostly about our stay-at-home adventures, but also about pregnancy and the MagnetStreet Baby products.

Most Rewarding Part of Being a SAHM:

Being there for every moment - the firsts, the ongoing development, the opportunity to teach him things and see him explore his world.

Biggest Challenge You Face as a SAHM:

Being there for every moment. :) Sometimes it gets old; I get bored and it's an ongoing challenge to come up with new ways to entertain both of us.

Best Advice for Other Stay-at-Home Moms:

Get connected with other SAHMs - have regular get-togethers on the calendar. Mine is a group of moms from our Newly Marrieds group at church; we go on stroller walks every week. Sometimes there's a coffeeshop stop beforehand, or lunch afterwards, but always the walk. In the winter, we move inside to a mall. It's been really great to have the support and encouragement of these other women as we journey the stay-at-home road together. (no pun intended)
