Florida did not offer sales tax holidays for 2009, but the governor signed a bill in May 2010 to reinstate the sales tax holiday. Previous sales tax holidays covered hurricane supplies, clothing, books and school supplies.
Neighboring states Alabama and Georgia will be offering back-to-school sales tax holidays in 2011.
