Back-to-School Savings Through Maryland's Sales Tax Free Holiday

By , About.com Guide

Maryland will not be holding a 2009 sales tax holiday. The state has announced tax free dates for 2010, though. Dollar limits are per item.

In 2011, Maryland will also introduce a tax free weekend for certain Energy Star products. The tax holiday is scheduled for February 19-21, 2011.

Neighbors Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia have 2009 sales tax holidays planned for back-to-school shoppers.
