West Virginia Sales Tax Holiday Dates

September 1 - November 30, 2009

Energy Star Items Exempt from West Virginia Sales Tax

Items $5,000 or less with an Energy Star label qualify for the exemption, such as:

  • Computers
  • Cordless Phones
  • Dehumidifiers
  • Dishwashers
  • DVD Products
  • Fans
  • Heat Pumps
  • Light Fixtures
  • Printers and Scanners
  • Programmable Thermostats
  • Refrigerators and Freezers
  • Televisions
  • VCRs
