My Review

I don't think I have ever been so disappointed in a TV show. The Talk is absolutely HORRIBLE! I have not been able to get through a whole show yet.

The hosts of the show are not a good blend. Leah is always yelling. Holly is attempting to be ethnic, which absolutely does not work. Sharon is who she is, I just don't like her as a talk show host. She's not coherent. And Julie's know-it-all and "better than thou" attitude is by far the most annoying.

I don't know that the show has ever had a guest that was current. Their topics are dated and have already been covered by other more respected and educated people. What credentials do any of the hosts have to advise me?

As soon as I hear Julie Chen's voice I turn the TV off. I don't know anyone who watches the show. All of my friends, family, and neighbors either turn the TV, turn it off, or go outside when The Talk comes on. If there is any good part of the show, that is it. People are actually going outside to enjoy nature and talk with the neighbors during the hour that The Talk is on.

The Talk is a poor copy of The View. I'm sure Les Moonves doesn't want to admit that his wife's show is a flop, but it is time to cancel this show. I was much happier watching As the World Turns. Even after CBS cancelled As the World Turns, the reruns of The Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal were more entertaining than The Talk. The hosts are comprised of washed up actresses trying to make a comeback and some money. With the exception of Julie, she wasn't an actress and doesn't need the money, but she is washed up. CBS, please end my misery and cancel this show.
