But November isn't all about Thanksgiving. I've written before about the noise of my boys. Just this morning we were banging out some "tunes" in the kitchen with pots, wooden spoons, even cookie sheets! It just so happens that November is International Drum Month.
November is also National Model Railroad Month and one of our daily activities is playing with Thomas the Tank Engine trains. We don't have a model railroad museum close by so we'll improvise and head out of town this month for a train trip on one of the big trains. I think our boys will accept the substitution.
There's a whole list of Things to Do With Kids in November. It will even come in handy when family arrives and you have a house full of cousins, nieces and nephews to entertain.
